There are so many ‘don’ts’ out there about what to eat…true though many may be: sugars, chemicals, pseudo look and taste alikes, salts, sprayed, marinade dunked and bathed, canned, plastic contained… on the don’t list; organic whole grains, greens, sugars, fruits and substantial sustainable prepared goodies…on the do list.

BUT, summer is a time when you are more apt to throw food caution to the wind and want  to wing it. And well you should. It’s that season of the year that makes you feel invincible. Fresh fruit, fresh veggies, long warm days, balmy blissful evenings to lounge about after a fabulous bar-b-que with family and friends. No winter weather boundaries. All that Vitamin D not only from the sun but from the delicious fresh food (hopefully organic) infuses your body with so much energy and good feelings that you feel you could run or bike miles. It’s a social time for sharing the local farmer’s market bounties from the grill.

and expand, eat out more, bar-b-que more, more reaching for fast food without thinking to stay out of the heat of the kitchen. We generally feel better than during the winter — a benefit of the Vitamin D we manufacture from the sun. We’re more active so we feel we’ll burn it off faster so ‘it’ doesn’t get stored in our bodies unlike more sedentary Winter. One answer, Blendarize.
