		<description>Thank you for this article.  Yes, I agree children should be involved in learning and making healthy choices.  My child's school just finished up their "healthy food" lesson and they also took it one step farther....  make healthy choices for us and for our planet.  Even the healthiest lunch can still cause some unhealthy effects to the environment.  What we wrap our food in is important, not to leach chemicals into our healthy snacks.  The school launched a Waste-Free Lunch Challenge, educating and empowering kids to Choose to Reuse and sold Waste-Free Reusable Lunch products (a % of the sales back into a Green Fund for the school).  Now my child thinks about what is healthy for him and for the environment.  Check out www.kidskonserve.com.  The site has some great information.
