Question: Kids? Cholesterol? Drugs? Ask Wellness Chef Helen

This is not a long blog today, but it will be picked up and explored more in depth later. Of course, you’ve heard about 2 years old babies being tested for cholesterol and then giving them statin drugs at 8 years old! A recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee. No! Parents. Families. Don’t allow that to happen. You, not the doctors and pharmacists, are the gate keepers and guardians of your children. You are the real blood line care givers, the custodians of your children’s health, happiness, and psychic futures. Exercise your right to say, “No!” 8 years old! 50 year olds can’t cope with the side effects, let alone a child. And then the side effects require more drugs to regulate them! Natural nutrition, people! It’s the answer and your responsibility, not only to educate yourself, but also your children. Cholesterol is regulated by the liver. The liver is a major body filter. Just like with a car you’re supposed to change the oil and filter every three thousand miles to extend the car’s life. Well, it’s not that easy with the body to just change out the liver, but extend your body’s life by changing the quality of the ‘oil’, the quality of your food and your liver will change from clogged to healthy, clear, and happy. Your body will be healthy, clear, and happy. Heal the problem. The part is fine. In fact, all parts of your whole body are fine when you give them the right fuel: natural, organic, whole foods. Your body engine will purr. That goes for all 2, 8, 20, 50 75…. year olds, all people everywhere. It’s a no brainer. Not rocket science but rocky science when treading and threading the prescription drug world. Your children are not guinea pigs or potential sheep. You control your family’s destiny with education and action. Natural foods should be your Science Course 101!

    Hi Helen,
I fully agree with you that parents are the guardians and costodians of their children. Not some pharmacists and some Pediatrics Committee with their private agenda…..

Let’s join hands together to let the world know that this is a bad, bad idea and should be resisted at all cost. Keep your post coming.
