Climate Change
September 21, 2009 by Ambassador of Green
The Climate Group and Rt. Hon. Tony Blair will host the Climate Week NYC Opening Ceremony on September 21, 2009. An array of global business leaders and policymakers representing some of the world’s most influential companies, cities, states, regions and nations will present a series of bold commitments to the United Nations Negotiation Process. These commitments will create critical momentum for the United Nations Climate Change Conference taking place less than 80 days later in Copenhagen.

On September 21st, TckTckTck partners along with thousands of individuals will sound the Global Wake Up Call in cities, towns and villages around the world. We need to wake up world leaders to the crisis of climate change by making noise and ringing bells and showing them that the world is ready for a bold climate deal.
Avaaz has developed an online toolkit that explains how individuals can get involved with the Global Wake Up call. This is open for any organization to copy and adapt to send out to its supporters to get them working on events for the 21st September.
We can only stop climate change if we all pull together and show world leaders that we demand action. Time is running out.
