COACHELLA - Tour de Power

The Energy FACTory highlights renewable energy sources and showcases the power of wind, solar, manmade, biodiesel and ethanol.

At past events, festival goers have been able to recharge their cell phones by riding specially outfitted bikes and create their own energy. The Energy FACTory also includes Make It Yourself Biodiesel demonstrations, Ask The Energy Experts areas, the conversion of a fuel car to electric, a wind-powered light box, DJ Portal Potty stations, solar-powered misters and organic t-shirts.

GLOBAL INHERITANCE on-site contests include:

- Paper Plane Shoot Out (winner will get to watch M.I.A.’s set from the stage!)

- Global Inheritance Run races with alternative energy golf carts created especially for Coachella will take place daily.

- 18 & Up Raffle will take place with the winner receiving a Coachella golf cart.
