The Los Angeles Convention Center hosts the Go Green Expo January 23rd to 25th, launching a four city tour. Exhibitors will feature the latest in energy efficient and environmentally friendly products and services. CTNgreen is a Sponsor at Booth 505, and Neal Gray with the CTNgreen Team will have HD video cameras ready for Interviews and some of our classic CTNgreen Q&A stuff… of course our CTN Green Magazine Cover is Mariel Hemingway, in the spotlight for her new Wellness books and websites.

Opening day keynote speaker will be renowned environmentalist and actor Ed Begley Jr. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from leaders on a wide variety of eco-minded subjects, including Greg Wendt of the Green Business Network on sustainable investing, best-selling authors Josh Dorfman and Julie Edelman, actress Mariel Hemingway on how to create a healthy lifestyle, Darren Moore of Ecovations on Eco-Friendly remodeling, and Raw Organic Chef Bryan Au on food choices to save your health and the environment. Visionary couture and eco-designer Linda Loudermilk will be present to speak about fashion. Loudermilk has spearheaded the creation of luxury eco fashion that takes environmental living to an entirely new level.
There will also be an eco-film festival with a special screening of Sundance Award Winner “FUEL” on Friday, January 23rd at 5:00 pm. The film’s director Josh Tickell will be present for a full panel discussion afterwards.
Business buyers receive complimentary admission on Friday to review and purchase green products and services. Days 2 & 3 are open to both consumers and business buyers.
The title sponsor, Perf Go Green, will be featuring a truly unique Earth Dome exhibit. The event is produced in conjunction with NBC/Universal and the Los Angeles Times; regional partners include Metro Bus, Sierra Club, Friends of the Los Angeles River, The Malibu Foundation and many more.
“Most homeowners want to make their homes more efficient, but assume the process is too complicated and expensive,” explained Elliot Baldini, senior marketing analyst for Sears Home Services. “The Sears Home Energy Audit takes the guesswork out of home energy efficiency by giving homeowners prioritized action steps to maximize their energy- and money-saving results.” A limited number of Sears Home Energy Audits will be given away to Go Green Expo visitors via sweepstakes in the Sears booth (#134) .
Go Green Expo will be using solar power to generate electricity on the show floor. All table coverings, trash bags, signage and banners will be made from biodegradable materials, and recycled and recyclable materials will be used throughout the show floor. The waste management program will take into account the environment by making use of local donation programs, and carbon offsets will be purchased for all electricity and fuel usage associated with the show.
